During the worst of the recent recession Lending Club had established themselves as a trusted alternative to both investors and borrowers, but they needed to continue to grow the service without straying from the brand equity they had built. They engaged BAT to provide analysis of the existing site and design options for freshening the feel without moving away from the core attributes of the brand or the safety experienced by their clients and consumers. BAT provided an alternative experience that reflected the feeling of being an alternative to a traditional financial institution, while retaining a sense of safety and security so important in their vertical.
